CASEWORKS includes a comprehensive set of tools that maintain the integrity of each case related digital asset. The user authority levels are flexible and can be configured to provide either group or user “access rights”. The database offers a complete set of administrative controls allowing agencies to set and enforce security policies for controlled accessibility at multiple levels by group, user, or specific asset.

When an asset is imported into the database a verification process ensures that the item selected for import is the same as the item in the database. Also, a HASH total is attached to the asset itself for both internal and external reference.

A detailed audit trail is maintained for each asset including user, time/date, and specific function performed (i.e. enhancement, printing, user access, etc.).

CASEWORKS' image versioning function allows modifications to copies of an image (the original image is always maintained).  These versions are automatically linked together, regardless of how many changes occur and an audit trail lists all related image data, including date/time, access, print, export, etc.
