LIMS Interface


CASEWORKS interfaces to the forensic Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to retrieve information from the LIMS tables. The CASEWORKS database mirrors the LIMS information, keeping the database structure the same. Low resolution copies of images are sent from CASEWORKSeis to the LIMS on an “as needed” basis for documentation purposes. The original image(s), with full audit trail, metadata, and versioning, can be maintained and retrieved via the digital asset database.

Currently,CASEWORKS connects to two of the leading forensic LIMS providers: Porter Lee BEAST and JusticeTrax LIMS-plus. Mideo can create direct interfaces to other LIMS.
